2

My first project is my artistic interpretation of a meteor shower! So I really only used (light and dark)blue, purple and white (And of course black). I started just painting a dark blue layer then I added light blue to the "start" of the shape.

So this is where my focal point really shows up, its the biggest shape and its off center. A good focal point is not in the center it should follow the rule of thirds. Where you section the canvas into thirds then make the focal point around the intersections.

Here is where I  added the "most" contrast to the focal point, but you can't just add one color (white) to only one spot of the panting you must add it to at least 3 other places. I added the white color to each shape. I dulled the color down by using a  very itty-bitty tiny amount of blue. The reason I had to dull down the color  because if the color is super intense like the focal point color then it distracts from the focal point. (the focal point is an attention hog!)
This is where I add the stars to get some variety in this painting.

Here is the product of this week! (that thing at the bottom is a glare from the flash on my camera oops)
What should I name this painting ???????
